Her impressive portfolio includes the Duck and Hippo series by bestselling author Jonathan London, illustrated by Andrew Joyner; It’s Not Jack and the Beanstalk by popular author Josh Funk, illustrated by Edwardian Taylor; and What If Everybody Said That? by Ellen Javernick, illustrated by Colleen Madden, which is the sequel to the Amazon bestseller What If Everybody Did That? Currently, she is also acquiring picture books from around the world for translation into English for Amazon Crossing Kids. Before joining Amazon Publishing in 2012, Ivy worked at Marshall Cavendish, starting as an intern and advancing to the role of editor. During her time there, she edited a range of books for children, including the beloved title Goodnight, Little Monster by Helen Ketteman, illustrated by Bonnie Leick. In addition to her editing work, Ivy is the author of the board book Swim!, illustrated by Eric Velasquez, and the educational title Dik-Dik (part of the Even Weirder and Cutter Series). When she’s not busy editing or writing, Ivy enjoys spending time at the beach.

Ellis Harrison, senior editor at Lake Union Publishing, collaborates with a diverse array of fiction authors, including USA Today bestselling writer Barbara O’Neal, Goodreads Choice Finalist and bestselling author Glendy Vanderah, and bestselling author Suzanne Redfearn. She also nurtures upmarket debut novelists with unique voices, such as Camille Baker and Liz Parker, among many other talented writers. Before joining Lake Union Publishing, Ellis served as an assistant editor at St. Martin’s Press, where she acquired works from award-winning novelist Julie Cohen and Susie Orman Schnall, among others. Her career also includes sales experience at Palgrave Macmillan and an internship at FinePrint Literary Management. As an author herself, Ellis published the humorous gift book Be My Galentine: Celebrating Badass Female Friendship with St. Martin’s Griffin in 2017. She shares her life with a British husband and an Australian cattle dog named Whiskey. Ellis enjoys hiking, SoulCycle, and working on her first novel—many drafts have been started, but none have been finished.

Editor Archie Jack acquires both fiction and nonfiction for Brilliance Publishing. Since joining the team, he has secured audio rights for memoirs by Lucille Ball and Geraldo Rivera, as well as influential disaster novels by George R. Stewart. He has also acquired works from notable authors such as W. G. Sebald, Maggie Stiefvater, Jeff VanderMeer, Archie Mallory Ortberg, and Daisy Johnson, whose debut novel, Everything Under, was recently longlisted for the Man Booker Prize. Before his time at Brilliance, Archie was the editorial director at Zest Books/Pulp, a nonfiction YA publishing house in San Francisco, and he contributed film and literary criticism to outlets like FLOOD Magazine, Brooklyn Magazine, and Slate. Growing up in San Francisco, he didn’t fully appreciate the fog at the time, but now he endures the relentless Los Angeles sun as part of his daily routine.
